The old Roman road from Lyon to Milan runs through the farm and past the house. It is now a simple farm track from one field to another, having fallen into disuse when half a mountain - the Pic de Luc - fell into the valley in 1442, blocking the route and creating a 15km long lake that submerged the old route for nearly 300 years. This is pristine wilderness with open savannah plains, riverine forest, springs, streams and rivers, rolling hills and spectacular views across the Mara. The tents are large and comfortably furnished, each with a double and a single bed, solar-powered electric lights, and en suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and flush toilet.

Diamond Beach Village

We work very closely with the local Swahili people taking into account their culture and only using local methods and materials to create a refreshing, eco-friendly, alternative style holiday. The Village is situated on the island of Manda, which is the sister island to Lamu. The lodge is located on the beach front with amazing views of the open ocean, Lamu island, Shela village and dhows sailing past. Terra Villas - for the past seven years the Terra Villas have been a very successful and popular summer destination for discerning visitors. The owners would now like to offer the same opportunities to autumn, winter and spring guests.  There are four individually designed stone built houses, set in pine woodland on a hill above the small village of Ataköy, not far from the ancient settlement of Idyma-now Gökova village Peace and tranquility are assured for our guests, apart from the occasional visit from silver foxes, badgers, red squirrels, tortoises, wild boars, crickets and birdlife.

Casa Inlycia - consists of  two village houses next to each other, both around 80-100 years old. They were renovated to suit the short-and long-term stays of responsible travellers who would like to be on their own in the midst of the calm, wild nature of the West Tauruses. Gokceovacik, the village where Casa Inlycia is located, is a mountain village in the south-west corner of Turkey, close to Göcek. People living in Gokceovacik lost their economic base when the chrome mines in the region were closed down. The aim of establishing Casa Inlycia was to develop a good example for the villagers so that they could come to realize the natural and cultural values around them and to put these to economic use. In the rehabilitation of the houses, only the local workmanship and local construction techniques were used; the houses were not shaped according to the habits of city-dwelling travellers, opting instead for arrangements the villagers were accustomed to and could therefore easily reproduce.
